Laem Yai

Laem Yai Beach is a beach on the very northwest tip of the island of Ko Samui. It is not clear exactly where this is as Laem Yai other than the northwest tip of Samui as it does not appear on maps of the area.

Get in

  • From Nathon: Head 5 km north, then take a left just before the road rises steeply and turns east.
  • From Chaweng: Head west approximately 12 km along the northern ring road, take a right turn at the bottom of the hill when the road angles to the left.

Get around

Taxi from Chaweng: 600 baht. Recommend your own transport. Hire a motorbike or a 4 x 4.

See

Beautiful sunsets, shallow seas, and idyllic coconut palm-lined beaches await explorers.

Walk along the beach, take a kayak out on the ocean, chill.
