Khuldabad

Khuldabad is a town 27 km north-west of Aurangabad. It's called the City of Mosques due to the large number of mosques. Here you can find the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

Khuldabad is 27 km from central Auranagabad on the way to Ellora. Many share taxi, autos ply throughout the day. Regular state buses run every 15 mts or drive on peaceful and calm road and peak on to Daulatabad fort while you drive.

You will find many veg and non-veg dishes here. Sheeq kabab and shikampur are famous non veg dishes, and in veg the most popular dish of Maharashtra. Vada pao and puri bhaji are also available. There are many stalls and thela are on each road for a standing refreshment, and some good restaurants are readily available so ignore the stalls and have a enjoyable meal at any clean restaurants. Khuladabad is also famous for its strawberries and apples.
