Jorethang
Jorethang is a small town is in South Sikkim.
Understand
The town has a population of around 10,000 and is located on the banks of the Rangeet River. While not a destination in itself, Jorethang is often used as a night halt by travellers heading to Pelling, Darjeeling and Siliguri.
Get in
Jeep-taxis ply the routes from Siliguri (three hours), Namchi (one hour) Darjeeling (90 minutes), Pelling (2 and half hours) and Tashiding (two hours).
