Jonava

Jonava is the 9th largest city in Lithuania with a population around 35,000. It is 30 km (19 mi) north-east of Kaunas.

Trains from major destinations come to the Vilnius Railway Station which links Moscow to Warsaw or Berlin.

Roads from Ukmergė, Kaunas, Kėdainiai.

By bus

Jonava has a bus station that you can reach from Kaunas, Vilnius, Alytus, etc.

Get around

There are public buses, and private buses, where are a bit faster. There is a 50% discount for the tickets for students and elderly people.

There are also taxis.
