İğneada

İğneada is a town on the northeast coast of Eastern Thrace, fronting the Black Sea. Most travellers drive all the way up there, near the Bulgarian border, for the long sandy beaches, but nature warriors will be happy to know that the İğneada National Park, home to a great biodiversity, several lakes, and one of the few floodplain forests in Europe, is also very nearby.
