Herm
Herm is the smallest of the Channel Islands of Guernsey.
Get in
- Herm Trident Ferry, ☎ +44 1481 721379 (kiosk), +44 1481 722377 (Herm Island). The ferry sails daily from the Saint Peter Port Harbour, Guernsey. It usually leaves from 'Cambridge Steps' but can also depart from either the 'Weighbridge' or 'Inter-Island Quay' depending on the height of the tide. The first and last boats always leave from Cambridge Steps. You will be told from where the boat will depart as you buy your ticket from the Trident Kiosk located at the 'Weighbridge'. If you are in any doubt telephone.
Get around
As there are no cars or motorbikes on Herm, you have to walk, except from the harbour steps where a tractor can be arranged to come and pick you up.

Herm has several beaches:
- Shell beach. A beautifully quiet beach with superb sand
- Belvoir Bay.
Do
On Herm, there are several things to do despite the size of it. There is a pub (The Mermaid Tavern), two shops, and several beaches. On one of the beaches, Shell Beach, in the summer you can hire kayaks.
Buy
- There is an island shop which sells clothes, jewellery, souvenirs, sweets and more.
- At Shell Beach, there is a refreshment kiosk where you can buy drinks, sweets and other such foodstuffs.
Eat
- 🌍 The Mermaid Tavern. A pub-like area in which you can eat outdoors.
- White House. A restaurant that has dining areas inside or outside.
- The Conservatory Restaurant.

There are several self-catering cottages and a camping ground. All accommodation facilities on the island are run by the family firm that own the head lease on the island. The main website for all these is Herm Island.
