Heho
Heho is a city in Shan State, Eastern Myanmar.
Get in
Heho is mostly known because it has an international airport with connections to Yangon, Mandalay and other domestic airports. From there, most people take a tour bus, taxi or pickup to get to Inle Lake. Directly outside the airport, taxi drivers charged between 15,000 and 30,000 kyat in Sep 2010 for the 45-minute drive to Inle. Private cars would do it for 10,000 kyat if you had good negotiating skills.
Taking a bus or pickup, you have to walk to the main road outside the airport. This is a 2 km walk to the right when exiting the airport.
