- The Pier at Garden City, 110 S. Waccamaw Drive, ☎ +1 843 651-9700. The Pier at Garden City is 668 ft. long with a rain shelter at the end of the pier. Open 24 hours a day for fishing, fishing passes can be purchased for $9/day ($4.50 for children 12 and under), and rods can be rented for $9. Also has large arcade, cafe, and bar at the end of the pier. Cafe opens for breakfast and lunch at 7:00 AM, closed for the winter in December, January, and February.
- Garden City Pavilion Arcade, 103 Atlantic Ave, ☎ +1 843 651-2770. For more than four decades, the wonderful Garden City Pavilion Arcade has been entertaining both children and their parents with one of the largest collections of games on the Grand Strand.

Voted "best restaurant with a view" and "most romantic" by The Sun News; Gulfstream Cafe is the only restaurant on the Strand overlooking the ocean on one side and Murrells Inlet on the other. Watch the sun set from the upstairs bar or deck and savor the creamy She-Crab soup, jumbo lump Crab Cakes, daily catch or Southern favorites such as fried Lobster Tail. Offering something for everyone: live music, seasonal Oyster Roasts and Sunday brunch with a build your own Bloody Mary bar.
