Fuqing

Fuqing (福清; Fú​qīng​shì) is an industrial city within the administrative area of Fuzhou. It has a population of around half a million.

Get in

There are many buses from nearby Fuzhou to central Fuqing. The trip takes a bit over half an hour.

A few buses coming to Fuzhou from towns further South — Putian, Quanzhou or Xiamen — stop in Fuqing, but most just drop off passengers at a nearby highway exit where it is easy to grab a cab for the two km ride into town.
