Fujino
Fujino (藤野) is a city in Kanto. A part of Sagamihara(相模原).
Understand
Fujino, popular with locals as an escape from Tokyo, is approximately one and a half hours away from Tokyo on the train. It has a population of approximately 11,500 inabitants, and is nicknamed "Tibet of Kanagawa Prefecture" due to its topography, climate, and distance from civilization.
Get in
It is quite easy to get the train from Tokyo.
Get around
With quite a few hills to trek up, walking is by far the most tasking way to get around. However, the views you'll receieve in return are well worth it. Unless fluent in Japanese it may be hard to rent a vehicle.

Do
There are many hot springs in Fujino, and due to the lack of tourists the prices are much lower than the ones in major cities.
