Frombork
Frombork is a small fishing village in Warmia-Masuria in Poland. It was part of Prussia, and later Germany, and was known by its German name Frauenburg from the Middle Ages until 1945.

By plane
The nearest useful international airport is in Gdańsk . Kaliningrad could also be a consideration for those with a Russian visa.
By car
From Gdańsk, take route E77 to Elbląg and than head north along the south coast of the Vistula Bay by road 503.
By train
The town's station last saw a train in 2006. However Braniewo, 10 km away near the Kaliningrad border, and Elbląg are on the functioning rail network .

The town of Frombork is extremely small so no transport is needed. You can get anywhere on foot.

- 🌍 Bishops’ Palace, Katedralna 8. Tu-Su: 9:00—16:00. The main building of the Nicholas Copernicus Museum in Frombork. 6 zł normal ticket, 4 zł reduced ticket.
- 🌍 Belfry, Krasickiego 6. Daily 9:30—17:00. The largest building on the Cathedral Hill. It burned down in 1945 but got rebuilt in 1972-1973. The belfry also houses the Foucault’s pendulum – the only instrument in Poland to observe the rotary motion of the Earth. A viewing platform 70 m above the sea level gives visitors the opportunity to observe the landscapes of Frombork’s surroundings. 8 zł normal ticket, 5 zł reduced ticket.
- Hospital of the Holy Ghost. Tu-Su: 9:30—17:00. 6 zł normal ticket, 4 zł reduced ticket.
- 🌍 Cathedral. Tu-Sa: 10:00—15:00. Su: 12:10—15:00. Expanded opening hours from the end of April until the end of September. The Gothic cathedral was built between 1329 and 1388. Since that time it has experienced a few minor expansions. 8 zł normal ticket, 5 zł reduced ticket and 4 zł for children.
