Get in

Get around

Bus The Omnibus system runs through Fontana connecting locals with local malls (Ontario Mills and Victoria Gardens) and colleges (Chaffey, Valley, and CSUSB, to name a few).
Car A stretch of the historic Route 66 runs through Fontana.
Bicycle The Pacific Electric trail is nearing completion. It is a nice, paved trail, that runs along an old train track path and will connect San Bernardino to Claremont. The path, for the most part, is fairly well lit and travelled by bicyclists, skaters, and pedestrians.
Walking Much of Fontana is still spread out over several miles. Walking may not be the best way to get from A to B, but downtown Fontana can still give you the chance to wear a hole in your shoes while experiencing some of the local flavor.

See

There are a few sites to see in Fontana- some you may have to search a little harder for. Al Capone once had a house off of the train tracks. It is a private residence, so we'll not bother them by posting their address here.
Scenes from Terminator 2: Judgement Day were filmed in Fontana.

Do

Fontana Days The annual celebration of the founding of Fontana takes place in the downtown area. Festivities include local merchants and bands occupying the streets. Also a big part of the festivities are the runs. Fontana hosts the "fastest half marathon." This 13.1 mile stretch is downhill from Lyttle Creek to city hall. Accompanying this are 5k runs, walks, and a children's hundred yard dash.

gollark: If you run it in a frame or something perhaps.
gollark: Horrible security horrors.
gollark: I fully maybe expect some sort of hosted bot platform eventually.
gollark: Inner platform effect IRL.
