Flaine

Flaine is in Le Grand Massif ski area in the Haute Savoie department, in the Rhône-Alpes of Southeastern France. It was designed by Bauhaus architect Marcel Breuer in the 1960, has one of Europe's fastest gondolas and is known for being an eco-friendly car-free ski resort.

Regular shuttle and bus services operate between Geneva International Airport and Flaine during the winter season. Distance is 70 km, transfer takes 1h 15min by car or taxi, 1h 45min by bus.
