Fedje
Fedje is an island off the coast of West Norway. It's in an unsheltered position, far from the mainland or other islands, so it has a rough, coastal climate, with mild winters and cool summers. Fedje is also the name of the archipelago of over a hundred islands that surrounds the main island, and the name of the municipality that administers the islands.

The two lighthouses in Fedje are both rented out to visitors for several weeks a year.
- 🌍 Holmengrå Lighthouse (Holmengrå fyr), ☎ +47 56 16 40 70, e-mail: booking@kremmerholmen.no. Almost 5 km north of the main island, Holmengrå is the site of a lighthouse that dates back to 1892. Known as one of the most isolated lighthouses in Norway, the climate here is even rougher than on the main island further south. The lighthouse has two floors accessible to renters, with a total of nine beds. 2-4 persons: kr 2000 per night, kr 3000 for a weekend, and kr 5800 for a week (Friday to Friday). Larger groups (5-9 persons): kr 350 per night for adults, and kr 150 per night for children. The boat trip from Fedje to Holmengrå is not included, and costs kr 1250 one way..
- 🌍 Hellisøy Lighthouse (Hellisøy fyr), ☎ +47 56 16 51 00, e-mail: gjermund@havstad.no. Closed for renovation. Hellisøy Lighthouse is on an islet 50 m south of the main island, and is more easily accessible than the lighthouse on Holmengrå. Contact Fedje municipality (phone) for prices.
