Diving in Mozambique/Devils Peak

The dive site Devils Peak is an inshore, rocky reef with coral in the Guinjata Bay area, near Inhambane in Southern Mozambique.

  • Bearings: About 700m to 800m magnetic East of the launch site at Guinjata Bay



Depth

Maximum depth is about 19m. and the top of the reef is about 14m.

Visibility

Visibility of 15 to 20m is common

Topography

Sand bottom at about 16m with reef up to about 14m. Fairly steep sides mostly. Swimthroughs, some overhangs and potholes.

Water temperature may be about 25°C
