Dingboche

Dingboche is a relatively large village in Khumbu, located between Pangboche and Chukhung. It is above the tree line, and so lacks the greenery of the villages below.

  • There is an Internet cafe charging 20 Rs per minute. It is the last village where it is still possible to access the Internet with prepaid cards by the company Everest Link.

There are a few lodges in Dingboche, including

  • Island Peak View Lodge, which offers simple clean rooms, a good hot (gas powered) shower and fine Masala tea.
