Delegate

Delegate is a small town near Bombala in the Snowy region of New South Wales, near the Victorian border. The name is Aboriginal, and means one big hill.

An old settlers hut is open to look around. It has been restored, and contains many everyday items of the period inside. It is a typical example of a hut that settlers would have occupied in the area in the 1840. The hut was restored by the community in 1988, using only traditional tools.
