Chéticamp

Chéticamp is a town on the coast of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Its blend of natural beauty and Acadian culture makes it an interesting place to spend some time in and it also serves as the western entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Get in

The Cabot Trail is the only road in and out of town. It is about 90 km from Baddeck and over 400 km from Halifax (about 5 - 6 hours drive).

• Joe's Scarecrows, Cabot Trail. Scary gallery of scarecrows with halloween masks. Entrance is free, but they ask for a small donation. 
• Les Trois Pignons, 15584 Cabot Trail, ☎ [phone]. Open May 15 - Oct 15, 9AM-5PM (open until 7PM in July and August). Museum of Acadian culture based on collection of antiques started by Marguerite Gallant.
