Caucaia is a major suburb of Fortaleza in Ceará. It is the administrative and commercial center of a region comprising the beaches of Cumbuco and Icaraí

The city in itself has little to attract tourists, but you might find it convenient as a bus hub and shopping district of easier access than Fortaleza

The biggest supermarket around is Super Bahamas. They will deliver at your door, even as far as Cumbuco if you shop for more than R$ 50.
