Cashiers is an unincorporated village in the North Carolina Mountains. Located in a great corner of southwestern North Carolina, a green valley 3,500 feet high surrounded by mountains rising up to 5,000 feet. It's not the foothills, but the southern crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Considered a mecca for recreational pursuits, Cashiers and the surrounding Sapphire Valley offers a wide array of activities from the most relaxed to the most rigorous.
