Cabuyao

Cabuyao is a city in Laguna, a region in the Philippines. It covers the southern banks of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country, and its rapidly increasing number of inhabitants now lies around 250,000. It is an industrial centre and the regional business seat for many multinationals operating in the Philippines.

Cabuyao, to most locals, is associated with its bulk of multinational companies hosting their factories here. The city hosts Nestlé, Asian Brewery, and San Miguel Brewery's factories, and two major industrial parks, the Light Industry and Science Park I (LISP I) and Silangan Industrial Park. It also hosts Malayan Colleges Laguna, built on the former warehouses of the defunct retailer Uniwide.

By bus

Bus service to Cabuyao is provided by Jam Liner, which hosts a terminal at barangay Pulo. Buses leave every 30 minutes from their Cubao and Buendia terminals. Fares range between ₱84-₱102 depending on your originating terminal.

By car

Cabuyao is served by the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), and can be reached within a hour or a half from Metro Manila. There is one exit: Cabuyao (exit 43).

This predominantly Catholic city is home to many churches. Notable ones include the 18th century St. Polycarp Parish in Barangay Uno and the Diocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer in .Barangay Mamatid.
