Brixen
Brixen (Italian: Bressanone) is a town in South Tyrol. In 1027-1803 it was the centre of the Prince-Bishopric of Brixen, an ecclesiastical state within the Holy Roman Empire.

- 🌍 Hofburg (Palazzo Vescovile). The bishops' palace, an impressive Renaissance residence.
- 🌍 St. Michael's Church (Pfarrkirche St. Michael). A modest but beautiful gothic church next to the cathedral.
