Aviles
Aviles (Spanish: Avilés, pronounced AHH-b-ee-l-EH-s) is a port city in the province of Asturias in northwest Spain.
Get in
You can get to Avilés by plane - the airport is near the city and well connected by bus and motorways.
The main bus company, Alsa, connects the city to all the provinces and most important cities in the country. There are also daily bus services every 30 minutes to and from Oviedo and Gijón.
You can also get there by train. There are two companies, FEVE and RENFE. The first links the city with Gijón, the west of the province, the north coast of Spain and Galicia. The other, RENFE, goes to Oviedo, inthe south of the province and the rest of the country. 🌍 Avilés railway station is located on Av. Telares.
