Ambrose (North Dakota)

Ambrose is a small town in Western North Dakota. It has a population of about 26 people. Altitude is 2,059 feet.

Ambrose is located immediately south of the border with Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a port of entry for surface traffic. It was incorporated in 1906, and named after Ambrose Olsen, and agent for the Soo Line railroad. Centennial celebration is planned for July, 2006.
