Algarrobo (Chile)
Algarrobo is a town and popular summer destination on the central coast of Chile. It's permanently home to no more than some 8600 people, but summer holidays draw in large crowds from nearby Santiago, the country capital.

- San Alfonso del Mar. This privately owned resort is located to the north of the village and is famously home to the largest pool in the world, with a lenghth of over 1 km and an estimated content of some 250,000,000 litres of Pacific Ocean water. The resort offers all the services you might imagine, from apartments and restaurants to clubs, a sea aquarium, sport schools and cultural exhibitions.
