Aglou
Understand
Aglou was initially a fishing village but is being developed as a tourist destination. It already is a favorite getaway place for people from Tiznit to escape its sometimes insane heat since a public bus goes there.
Get in
By public bus from Tiznit or with CTM on the route from Agadir to Sidi Ifni - it's not an official stop so you will have to ask the bus driver to drop you of.
Get around
All of Aglou can be walked within 15 minutes.
See
- the beach
- the formerly inhabited caves at the sea (you can still rent some for a night - though they are very basic.
Do
- fishing
- hanging out at the beach
Eat
There are a few restaurants at the beach at one at the entrance of the village.
Sleep
Several small hotels are available and locals rent out apartments - ask in cafes or restaurants for the latter.
There is also a pretty large camping ground at the entrance of the village.
