Đakovo is a small city in Slavonia, eastern Croatia.

Get in

By car

The town is located on the railway line between Osijek and Doboj in Bosnia, and close to the E73 Highway (also known as the Pan-European corridor X).

By train

Connections from Osijek, Zagreb, Budapest and Sarajevo. The 🌍 Đakovo Railway Station is located on the northeastern edge of the town.

By bus

Good connections from Osijek, Zagreb, Vukovar, Slavonski Brod, Belgrade, Tuzla, and weekly buses to Salzburg and Zurich

Get around

Walk! It's a compact enough town and gives great opportunities to take in the sights on offer.

  • Training of the Lipizzaner horses on the edge of the city (a great morning's viewing).
