Österlen has a well-maintained bike trail running just along the coast, making bicycle an excellent choice for getting around. It is possible to get from Skillinge to Kivik (a distance of about 30 km) without having to bike on the main road at all. The scenery varies between pretty and fantastic. Some of the highlights include the small fishing villages you may pass through on the way, namely Brantevik, Baskemölla, Vik, in addition to Simrishamn and the villages Rörum and Svinaberga.
