Zorphwar

Zorphwar is a play-by-mail game that was published by Zorph Enterprises.

Gameplay

Zorphwar was a game in which each player begins with a base ship-factory and a per-turn building allowance with which he may construct ships of 8 different sizes.[1]

Reception

Sam Moorer reviewed Zorphwar in The Space Gamer No. 45.[1] Moorer commented that "Despite its flaws and imbalances the fast pace and brisk combat gives the biggest bang for the buck in PBM today. But it's not for the role-players or those who prefer complex games with diplomatic maneuvers."[1]

gollark: I could use a convenient brain clock (and RNG and calculator and various other things).
gollark: No, it seems to be saying that the things themselves are not "mighty".
gollark: No it isn't. Those things are "mighty" because they act as force multipliers, not because they do things on their own.
gollark: I see.
gollark: As in, Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or another queen?
