Zodwa Rebecca Libram[2](born 30 October 1990) is a South African Media Personality socialite and dancer.[1]

Career

She then moved on to become an entertainer.[3][4][5] Wabantu has been a notable dancer in the last few years,[6] and has feuded with fellow dancer Skolopad.[6] Wabantu recently performed at the Doek on Fleek event, amongst other events she has performed at.[7][8]

She currently is signed to the DJ Tira record label.[9]

In 2018, Wabantu appeared in the season premiere of MTV 2 South Africa's Behind the Story. Her videos have been share throughout social media and a dedicated YouTube channel.[10]

Controversy

Wabantu makes waves for the fact that she performs without wearing panties.[11][12] In 2017, Wabantu was banned from performing in Zimbabwe due to the nature of her performances.[13]. Wabantu was deported from Zambia over similar issues less than a year later.[14] In late 2020, Zodwa was allegedly dribbled by her ben 10, Vusi the Casanova. Fans were left divided and some celebrated Vusi for doing this for Will Smith.

Personal life

Wabantu purchased land for her business during the winter of 2018. She has her own show called Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored [15]
