Ziaul Mustafa Razvi Qadri
Mufti Allamah Zia ul Mustafa Aazmi Qadri Razvi Amjadi (مفتی ضیاء المصطفیٰ اعظمی رضوی قادری امجد) (हिन्दी मुफ्ती अल्लामा ज़ियाउल मुस्तफा कादरी ) mostly Known Huzoor Muhaddis al Kabeer (محدت الکبیر ) is scholar of Hadith (Muhaddith), orator, author and known scholar of Sunni Islam. He is serving as Naa’ib Qaazi ul Quz’zat fil Hind (Deputy Grand Mufti of India) under Mufti Asjad Raza Khan, who is considered as Chief Qazi by Sunni Barelvi movement[3]

Zia al-Mustafa has taught Bukhari and Muslim hadiths for over 50 years in India and has memorized 60,000 Hadiths with their chain of narrators and authenticity. In 2016, he was recognized by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic thought as one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world.[4]
Life and Services
He was appointed as faculty at Jamia Ashrafia Mubarakpur, Azamgarh, India at the age of 22. He is president of Sharai Council of India and heads annual Fiqahi seminars at Bareilly. He is founder of two Madrasas Taibatul Ulma Jamia Amjadia Rizvia and Kulyatul Banatul Amjadia (for Girls). The institute for girls education was established at the request of his mother Hazra in 1981 [8][10] He was appointed as a Deputy grand Mufti of India, in the 16th Annual Fiqahi Seminar in March 2019 held at Bareilly. His several thousands students have become scholars and are associated with Sunni Sufi movements.[11][12][13]
He won the competition at Jamia Ashrafia and was conferred the title, ‘Mumtaz ul Fuqaha’. His other titles includes Sultaan ul Asaatiza, Tarjumaan E Maslak E Raza, Qaazi E Islam, Ra’ees ul Munaazireen, Muhadith E Kabeer, Ameer ul Mo’mineen fil Hadith, Naa’ib Qaazi ul Quz’zat fil Hind.[12]
Books and Treaties
He is presently writing the Sharah (annotation) of Hadith book Tirmizi Shareef.[12]
Fatawa writing
He wrote Fatawa under his spiritual teacher Mufti E Azam E Hind, Muhammad Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri Barkaati Razvi and has written thousands of Fatawas for over a period of 50 years.[12] He was appointed as successor (khalifa) of Mufti Azam-e-Hind Mustafa Akhtar Rida Khan also.[14]
Debater or Munazir
He is debater on Islam and specialized in Ahle Sunnah beliefs and faith and has won famous Debates of Bajardiha Banaras U.P., Munaazira Badayoun U.P., Munaazira Baanudchatru Pilamau, Munaazira Daamda Puruliya West Bengal, Munaazira Malikpur Katihar, Bihar and Munaazira Hiranpur, Muwaishi Haat Paakor Banaras against Deobandi, Wahabi scholars.[12] He regularly heads Islamic seminars and conferences all over India and in other parts of the world.[15][16][17][18]
Legacy
One of his students and Islamic scholar Maulana Aftab Moosa Qasim Razvi has established Maulana Imam Mustafa Raza Research Centre at Durban, South Africa.[19]
