Zhang Qiang (footballer)

Zhang Qiang (Chinese: 张强; pinyin: Zhāng Qiáng, born 13 July 1986[1]) is a Chinese visually-impaired 5-a-side association footballer from Genhe, Inner Mongolia. He was a member of the Chinese team that won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Paralympics.[2]

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Zhang.

He was born blind in one eye. When he was 13, the other eye suffered an acute injury when a nail accidentally shot into it.[3]
