Zaynab , also spelled as Zainab, Zayneb, Zeinab, Zineb, Zinab Arabic: زينب, [ˈzeːnæb, ˈziːnæb, ˈzajnab]) is an Arabic female given name meaning "fragrant flower”.

Zaynab is the name of the daughter and the granddaughter of the Islamic prophet Mohammad and two wives of the Prophet also named Zaynab bint Jahsh and Zaynab bint Khuzayma.

Bosnian forms of the name are "Zeineb", "Zejneb" and "Zejneba".
Turkish form of the name is Zeynep. Somali form of the name is Seynab.
