Zara Taylor (born 5 November 1983) is a Canadian actor and singer-songwriter. Born in Clearwater, British Columbia, and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Career

Taylor is known in the trance scene under the name Zara and Zara Taylor[1] The single Lost by Roger Shah (under the pseudonym Sunlounger) and Zara Taylor was #1 on the Beatport Trance charts and voted the Tune of the Year in Armin van Buuren's radio show "A State of Trance" in 2008.[2] Previously, she had worked as a singer with house DJ and producer Sultan (also spelled Soul Tan).[3] In December of 2018, Will Atkinson’s remix of Zara’s single “Lost” climbed back up the Trance charts to #1 and held the spot well into 2019.

Whilst filming the Masters of Horror episode Cigarette Burns in 2005, she was accidentally blinded. Fortunately, her eyes had recovered four days later.
