Zain Khan Durrani

Zain Khan Durrani is an Indian actor and poet, known for his role in the film Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz.[1]

Early life and education

Zain was born in a suburb of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He went to Burn Hall School, later joined Delhi Public School and graduated from Zakir Hussain College, Delhi University. He is actively involved in theatre acting and is a skilled poet as well.[2]

Career

He started off as an assistant director with Onir in a film called Shab, where he learned the technical part behind filmmaking.[3] After doing an audition for Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, he was selected for a lead role with Onir as the director.[4] Zain also appeared as a radio jockey on the programme Lamhey with Zain on Big 92.7 FM.[5]. He has starred in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film, Shikara (2020 film).
