Zafar Rasheed Bhatti

Zafar Rasheed Bhatti (c. 1950 April 27, 2020) was a Pakistani journalist.

Career

Bhatti joined Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) in 1984 after having worked in Pakistan Press International and Nawaiwaqt.[1] He remained associated with APP until 2010. During his association with APP, he worked as chief reporter of the news agency and served as president of the APP's employees' union.[2]

Death

He died on 27 April 2020 at the age of 70 in Islamabad[3] after contracting coronavirus during a Tabligh visit.[4]
