Zackary Arthur

Zackary Arthur (born September 12, 2006) is an American child actor, best known for playing Sammy Sullivan in The 5th Wave and Zack Novak in the series Transparent. He currently has a recurring role as a young Jeff Piccirillo on the Showtime series Kidding.

Career

Arthur made his acting debut in 2014. He played Zack Novak in the Amazon Studios' comedy-drama series Transparent along with Jeffrey Tambor, who won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy.[1][2][3]

Arthur played one of the lead roles, Sammy Sullivan, in the film The 5th Wave, along with Chloë Grace Moretz and Nick Robinson, and directed by J Blakeson.[1][2][4] He was one of the hundreds of young actors who auditioned for the role.[2] The film was released on January 22, 2016 by Columbia Pictures.[5]

Arthur is also playing a role in the CBS' comedy pilot The Half of It.[6] Arthur also appeared in the 20th episode of Grey's Anatomy season 12, "Trigger Happy", as a small boy possibly at fault for the paralysis of his friend.

Arthur starred as Josh Ryan in the horror comedy film Mom and Dad.[7]
