Yodha (2009 film)

Yodha is a 2009 Indian Kannada action film directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film stars Darshan, Nikita Thukral and Ashish Vidyarthi in the lead roles.[1] The film is a remake of Tamil film Bose (2004) directed by Senthil Kumar and starring Srikanth and Sneha.

The film was released on 19 June 2009 across Karnataka cinema halls and got mixed response from critics and audience.[2] However the box-office results showed the film to be a success.[3] This was the first film in the combination of Rockline Venkatesh - Darshan.

Plot

Minister Patil hiked by terrorists and demanding for prisoners but central government refuse the demand takes the NSG Commando operation with Capt.Ram in lead. NSG successfully rescues the minister while in operation one terrorists escaped remaining are dead and 2 commandos sacrifice their life in operation. Due to threat to life of Minister Patil, Capt.Ram & team deployed to ministers security.

During Repbluic day program in New Delhi, Patil saw and attracted to Programs dancer Asha and create trap to dancer made her to coming his room and attacked for lust. Ram enters the minister room without permission due uproar in room & saw helpless girl and attacked minister beats him seriously and sends asha out of the house without noticing anyone. Due to attack of Minister Army order Court-Marshal dismissed from army, but Ram never reveals the reason behind it.

Ram back to home. Patil discharge from hospitals but still suffers from serious fatal insury, he orders mafia to kill Ram. But Ram saved. Patil reveals the his reason behind hijack by terrorists Due to he wants to became CM of state but it was failed because of Ram. Now Patil gets angers more due mafia fails to kill Ram and threats to kill Ram's family.

Asha got to known Ram is Courtmarshelled and she reveals incident to Ram's senior officers while Ram got to known about ministers previous hijack and creates trap using terrorists who are escaped in operation.
