Yitu Technology
Yitu Technology is a Chinese technology company specialising in artificial intelligence with large deployments in the Xinjiang region of China. As of April 2018 it has been valued at about $2.4 billion.[1]
In October 2019, the company was sanctioned by the United States for allegedly using its technology for human rights abuses in Xinjiang against the Uyghur people.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
