The Yeresere School has four classrooms. As of 2019, the school had 304 students, 135 girls and 169 boys.[1] There were:
- 35 students in one class in Grade 0
- 38 students in one class in Grade 1
- 31 students in one class in Grade 2
- 43 students in one class in Grade 3
- 52 students in one class in Grade 4
- 59 students in one class in Grade 5

Water and sanitation
In 2019, no water was available at the school. There was a hand-dug well with handpump and the school had a roof water harvesting system, but both installations were damaged. Up to 2019, there was a toilet building, in relatively good condition; the latrine pit is emptied every two years.[1] Through nudging approach, the students are sensitised for using the sanitation and water facilities.[2]
Transportation
All children travel to school on foot. Many students will walk more than an hour, twice a day, to come to school.[3]
