Yeren

In Chinese folklore, the Yeren (Chinese: 野人; pinyin: yěrén; lit.: 'wild-man'), variously referred to as the Yiren, Yeh Ren, Chinese Wildman[1][2] (Chinese: 神农架野人; pinyin: Shénnóngjiàyěrén; lit.: 'The Wildman of Shennongjia') or Man-Monkey (Chinese: 人熊; pinyin: Ren Xiong; lit.: 'Man Bear'), is a legendary creature said to reside in the remote mountainous forested regions of western Hubei.[3][4]

The creature is often called the “Chinese Bigfoot” or “Chinese Yeti”.
