Yellow Garter Band

The Yellow Garter Band (YGB) is a select group of 12 players that plays at numerous events for the University of Oregon.[1] It is identical in purpose and instrumentation to its counterpart, the Green Garter Band (GGB), but with a smaller commitment. The band was created in 2002 to help fulfill the number of requests for GGB appearances. In return for their commitment, YGB members receive a book scholarship every term.
