Yaroslav Amosov
Yaroslav Amosov (born 9 September, 1993) is an undefeated Ukrainian mixed martial artist, currently signed to Bellator and fights in the welterweight division.[1]

He is a three-time world sambo champion, a two-time European and Eurasia champion, and European Cup winner. Asomov is also the winner of many national and international competitions.
Sambo career
Yaroslav Amosov had no prior interest in martial arts until he joined a sambo (martial art) club at the age of 16. While there, he trained at the Hermes Club in Kiev under coaches Fedor Seredyuk and Vadim Korytny.
Amosov made his first breakthrough at the international adult level in 2012 when he won the European Sambo Fighting Cup and subsequently achieved significant success in single combat. He became world champion for WCSF three times (in 2013, 2014, and 2015), and European champion for ECSF twice (2013 and 2014).
In September 2014, Asomov became the Professional Combat Sambo champion of Eurasia after defeating the Caucasian fighter Shamil Zavurov by submission.
Asomov has repeatedly won several combat sambo championships in Ukraine, and in March 2015, he became a Ukrainian sports-master.
MMA career
In June 2012, Amosov made his MMA debut against Vitaliy Maystenko. Amosov won via TKO in the first round.
In September 2014, Amosov made his middleweight debut beating Aydin Aikhan via TKO in the first round.
Amosov fought in various Ukrainian promotions for his first nine fights before being signed by the Russian organization Tech-Krep FC.
In June 2016, after winning seven fights in a row in Tech-Krep FC, Amosov beat Croatian fighter Roberto Soldić to win the vacant Tech-Krep welterweight title.[2]
In 2017, Amosov made two successful defences of the Tech-Krep FC welterweight title against Diogo Cavalcanti and Nathan Oliveira. Amosov won both fights via submission in the first round.[3] [4]
Bellator MMA
In November 2017. Bellator announced they had signed Yaroslav Amosov to the promotion following an undefeated run of 19 fights which only included two decisions.[5]
Amosov made his Bellator debut against Gerald Harris on 13 July 2018 at Bellator 202. Amosov won the fight via unanimous decision.[6]
Amosov then faced Erick Silva on 16 February 2019 at Bellator 216. Amosov won the fight via unanimous decision.[7]
Amosov then faced David Rickels on 24 August 2019 at Bellator 225 in a catchweight bout. Amosov defeated Rickels via brabo choke in the second round. This was Rickels' first submission loss in his career.[8]
Amosov then faced three-time NCAA Division I national champion Ed Ruth on 21 February 2020 at Bellator 239. Amosov won the fight via unanimous decision.[9]
