Yahor Lapo
Yahor Lapo (Belarusian: Ягор Лапо; born June 20, 1982 in Minsk) is a modern pentathlete from Belarus.[1] At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he competed in the men's event, along with his compatriot Dzmitry Meliakh. During the competition, Lapo made a strong start in the early segments, until he fell off by his horse Pingping and did not finish the run in the riding segment. Following his disastrous horse fall and discontinuous riding leg, he finished abruptly in penultimate place, out of thirty-six competitors.
