Yahia Kébé

Yahia Kébé (born 11 July 1985) is a Burkinabé football striker. He currently plays for Al-Zawraa.

Career

Kébé began his career in 1999 with US Torcy. He played with the club's youth squad before transferring to Blackburn Rovers in 2003. Than 2003 was transferred to Bordeaux and was promoted to the reserve team 2004 who has played with his brother Boubacar, Kébé who scores 6 goals in 20 games.[1] In the year 2005 moved to FC Libourne Saint-Seurin, in the season 2005–2006 played 21 matches and scored 8 goals and 2006–2007, was member in 35 matches in Ligue 2 who scores 10 goals.[2] He left than Libourne in July 2007 and moved to Troyes AC,[3] here played in his first season 23 games and scored 7 goals.[4] In the current season 2008/2009 scores 3 goals in 18 games for Troyes in the French Ligue 2.[5]

International career

He presented on international stage Burkina Faso national football team, holds currently 23 games and scores 8 goals.

Personal life

His father is Malian and his mother is Burkinabé; he is the elder brother of Boubacar Kébé and sister Asta.
