Will Gibson
William Gibson (1869–1911) was a Scottish footballer who played in the Football League for Lincoln City, Notts County and Sunderland as a left back or left half.

Club career
Gibson made his debut for Sunderland on 27 October 1888 against Elswick Rangers in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round when Sunderland won the match 5–3.[4] He went on to make 93 league appearances for Sunderland, scoring 7 goals.[5]
