Trains of both lines in the station; Berner Oberland Bahn to the left; Schynige Platte Railway to the right. The passing loop on the Berner Oberland Bahn runs along the platform surface between the train and the station building.

The two lines use different gauges, and there is no physical connection between them. However the trains operate from adjacent platforms within the same station.[1]

Trains in both directions on the Berner Oberland Bahn are scheduled to use Platform 2 alternately. There is a passing loop at the station, which, due to space constraints runs along the top of the platform with the rails embedded in the surface. This line is designated as Platform 1 but is not normally used by trains.

The station is served by the following passenger trains:[3][4][5]
