Distribution partners

WheelsTV's list of distribution partners include J.D. Power, Yahoo, AOL, Vehix (before it closed in 2012), MSN, Chrome Systems,[4] Comcast, Kia Motors America,[5] among others, including up to 40,000 OEM franchise dealers.

Video Lineup

Each of the distribution partners carry the various WheelsTV video products. Videos are a combination of original footage, shot professionally by the WheelsTV staff and OEM-sourced B roll. This footage is combined with a script written by an automotive journalist, voiced by a professional voice-over artist, and edited by a professional video editor.

Top 200

Top 200 videos provide consumers with essential vehicle purchasing information by giving car shoppers the ability to easily search, research, share and compare cars, trucks and SUV's.[6] The run time is usually a little over two minutes, and includes vehicle information such as engine specifications, fuel economy, class, size, passenger capacity, standard and optional features, safety features, pricing, and warranty information.

1:00 on ONE

The 1:00 on ONE video product is essentially a one-minute breakdown of the vehicle. It provides essential vehicle information such as class, size, passenger capacity, engine information, fuel economy, pricing, and warranty information.[7]

POV

POV's are a review of a vehicle that is no longer in production, and is likely to be found in a pre-owned dealer's inventory.[8] A POV video covers an entire generation of a particular vehicle and points out potential problems that might arise in each year of a generation.

To create this product, available data is gathered on each vehicle including information from actual consumer experiences as reported to J.D. Power and Associates, government and private testing agencies, and independent analysts. These findings are combined with archival footage, from WheelsTV's library, OEM footage, and IIHS crash test footage.

Social networking

In 2009, WheelsTV launched a social networking site directed at automotive enthusiasts.[9]

gollark: But why? Calculators are fairly uncool.
gollark: Mine at least supports an amazing nine slots and has some of the weird quirks not present.
gollark: Calculators' memory things seem so badly designed.
gollark: Infinite legos don't do much on their own; infinite lego + some subset of physics maybe.
gollark: Well, yes, which makes sense because it's a generic basic calculator.
