Westside Locos 13

Westside Locos 13 or simply "Westside Locos" is a predominately Latino-American street gang based in West Los Angeles with history dating back to the 1970s.[1] They reside mainly in the Reynier Village neighborhood, and their main subset or "clique" is Halm Avenue Gangsters or "Halm Ave", which street name represents the center of the gang's territory.[2]

Rivalry

The gang's main rivals include the nearby 18th Street gang, Toonerville Rifa 13,Sotel 13, Helms 13, DIM 13, Barrio CFL 13 gang, EWF Gang, and Blastin Fools Gangsta Crip.[3]

Graffiti

The gang's use of graffiti is evident with symbols like "WSLS", "LSX3", or simply "WS Locos".[4] In other forms of graffiti taggings, such as scratch markings in public bathroom stalls, etc., "LOKOS" is commonly used.

Allies

The Westside Locos gang is part of a larger Locos 13 alliance of smaller gangs located throughout Los Angeles County. This alliance includes the CV Locos of Compton, as well as the Westside Locos of Glendale. The gang also has a subset in Simi Valley.[5]

gollark: I mean, I think Euclidean geometry applies to 3D too, but we're talking about specifically 2D things here.
gollark: The regular 2D kind.
gollark: <@249056455552925697> You know tesselations of stuff in regular Euclidean geometry, where you have infinite grids of squares and triangles and hexagons and all that?
gollark: I don't actually understand the maths involved well enough to generate those myself, but I was reading the Wikipedia articles on it and thought "hmmm, these patterns are neat, I will use [search engine] image search to find a nice one to use as a profile picture".
