Weston and Waverley Wood

Weston and Waverley Wood is an area of private woodland situated between the villages of Weston under Wetherley and Bubbenhall, Warwickshire, England.[1] Access can be gained to the wood from the A445, although public vehicles are not allowed in. A number of ancient artifacts have been found in the wood, including five hand axes. At 500,000 years old they are amongst the oldest stone objects in the UK.[2]
